The IBC 2018-2019 season has come to an end. We plan to resume scheduled play in September 2019. Once we receive our schedule, returning members will receive an email with details about membership renewal.
If you are not yet a member, but are interested in joining IBC, please see https://ibcbadminton.com/club-information/joining-ibc/ for more information about IBC’s new member process. We plan to update the IBC website after renewals have been processed and if there is capacity, we will post the details for a new member lottery/draw.
Interested in playing during the summer? The EDBA is offering weekly drop-in dates at the Saville Community Sports Centre. For more information, please refer to http://edba.org/edba-summer-drop-in-sessions-saville-community-sports-centre/.

The 2018-2019 IBC Annual Dinner will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 6pm at Yang Ming Buffet (3414 118 Ave NW).
The deadline to register for the dinner has been changed to end of play on Wednesday, May 29, 2019.
Please ensure that you sign up if you wish to attend.
Door Prizes
If you are able to donate door prizes, please let us know. A special thanks to our sponsors who have already donated door prizes!
IBC and Southgate Badminton Club will be hosting a “Mini Interclub” on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 2pm to 6pm at WP Wagner. Members from both clubs can play anytime during the 4 hour time slot.
Adult drop-ins are welcome ($10/player for the full 4 hours or $5/player for first or last 2 hours).
All players will be required to sign a waiver prior to playing. Nylon shuttles will be provided.
To encourage social play, IBC will be using a modified court waiting system on MONDAYS only for the remainder of the 2018-2019 season. Please refer to https://ibcbadminton.com/club-information/waiting-system/#mondays for more information.
All other scheduled days (ie: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) will use the default court waiting system.
Description: Effective April 1, 2019, IBC will accept drop-ins on Mondays. Fee is $8/player. Please see Information for Drop-Ins for details. We will continue to accept drop-ins on Saturdays and Sundays, and the fee is $5/player.
